2005 Meetings and Social Events

• Dec. 1, 2005: Club Holiday Dinner at Salam Restaurant. Festive and filing!
• Oct. 20, 2005: Club Meeting. An engaging presentation 'Regulator Autopsy' or what you need to know about your regulator's second stage to keep it functioning. A group dinner followed.
• May 26, 2005: Club Spring Dinner. 24 members met for an evening of tasty treats at 'Salam' and dive trip discussions
• Apr. 21, 2005: Club Meeting. VDC members were dazzled about underwater photography by members of the LGBT Photography Club
• Mar. 19/20, 2005: Club Outing to the Beneath The Sea Scuba Diving Expo at the Meadowlands Convention Center. The club had a booth at the Expo, coordinated by members Alex Knowlton and Steve Sangesland.
• Mar. 17, 2005: Club Meeting. Nancy Easterbrook of Cobalt Coast Resort (Grand Cayman) shared a video on diving The Caymans, and Kristi Marchetti, of Peter Hughes Diving, shared the wonders and greatness of liveaboard diving.
• Feb. 17, 2005: Club Meeting. The club learned about the effect of the recent tsunami on SE Asia diving, and final charity selections were made for DFL 2004
• Jan. 19, 2005: Club Meeting. VDC member David Ratcliffe presented a slide show on the Fiji Diving For Life, and club member Chuck Edwards presented on 'being gay in Fiji' to 22 attendees.
